Susan Woodcock

 

Susan is co-owner of Puppy Camp. She is responsible for it's start. She has over 26 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant, and still works at Pleasant Ridge Pet Hospital on weekends.

In Susan's words: "It's not easy being an alpha dog when you're only 5 ft 2 !"

Jim Turner

Jim Turner
 

Jim is co-owner of Puppy Camp. He has worked in the music industry for years. He wanted to be a vet but didn't want to spend 12 years in school, so this is the next best thing. (Plus no chemistry class).

In Jim's words: "My parents never let me have a dog".

 

Jon Woodcock

Jon Woodcock
 

Jon is Susan's husband. They have 2 grown
children and have been married for 37 years.
Jon works part-time at Puppy Camp (but we don't
pay him) so he has to have a real job too.
Mostly we keep him around as comic relief.



In Jon's words: "The dogs don't believe me, but... I'M A CAT PERSON!"

Kaitlyn

Kaitlin
 

Kaitlin is 23 and is an Assistant Manager. She started with us in January of 09. Before Puppy Camp, Katilin worked on a horse farm for 2 years. She also works at Banfield Pet Hospital as a receptionist. Now she'd like to go back to school to become a veterinary technician. You can see Kaitlin during the month of October as the "School Nurse" at "The Dent School House" Haunted House on Harrison Ave in Bridgetown. Check it out at frightsite.com.

Simone

Simone
 

Semone is 23 and is an Assistant Manager. She has been with us since High School.  Currently she is getting ready to head back to school!
 
In Semone's words: "I used to be a cat person, now I'm all about the dogs!"

Shawn

Shawn
 

Shawn is "forever 29" and he has been with us since July of '09. Shawn spent 2 years at Colorado Aero-Tech before coming to Cinci. He has been bartending ever since. Shawn has an 8-year-old son and at Puppy Camp, he's our comic relief.

In Shawn's words: "I'm just here for the free biscuits!"

Lindsey

Lindsey
 

Lindsey is 21 and is one of our Assistant Managers. This is Lindsey's second stint at Puppy Camp. She also works for Fifth Third Bank.
In Lindsey's words: "Pet a dog and you'll find a permanent job. But all the work makes up for it because dogs are miracles with paw prints."

 

 

Jimmy

 

Jimmy started at Puppy Camp in October of 2012. He is 30 years old and a student at Cincinnati State, studying software engineering. Jimmy has done everything from running a coffee shop, projectionist at a movie theater, traveling Japan and managing a Hustler store. He adpoted a hard-headed boxer mix from Susan named Bear. (Sucker!)

Dana

                                          

Dana started at Puppy Camp in July of 2012. She is 23 and just graduated from UC with her degree in
Athletic Training. She dreams of being a trainer for a professional baseball team. Dana enjoys traveling and adventures.

 

In Dana's words: " I think laughter is the best medicine."





Mindy

Mindy
 

Mindy is 22. She started at Puppy Camp in August 2011. Mindy attends UC Blue Ash studying Veterinary Technology. She also works at Pleasant Ridge Pet Hospital as a vet assistant. She has dreamed of being a Veterinarian her entire life, but decided to become a technician first to gain valuable experience in preparation for Vet school.

In Mindy's words: 
"I fell very blessed to be
here at Puppy Camp. The dogs mean the world to me. Animals are my
passion, they are my life, they are me."

Angie

 

Angie is 21 and started at Puppy Camp in December of 2012. She is a third year student at UC, studying
psychology. She plans to go to grad school to become a physical therapist. Angie runs cross country and marathons. During the summer months, she also works as a back-packing guide.



Rachel

 

Rachel has been a Puppy Camp counselor since January of 2013. She has three Australian Shepherds, and would love to own a farm and rescue dogs that are in need of a home. In addition to working here, she is the office manager at Banfield Pet Hospital in Oakley.



Olivia

 

Olivia has been with us since March of 2013. She is 19 and wants to be a photographer. When she isn’t taking pictures, Olivia likes to cuddle with her own dogs, and other small animals. An animal lover since early childhood, she finds her greatest passion with mans’ best friend.

In Olivia’s words: “ Who needs Disney World when you have Puppy Camp!”

Heather
 

Heather is 23.  She started at Puppy Camp in October 2011.  Heather is also in her second year at Brown Mackie College studying Veterinary Technology.  Heather graduated from Finneytown in '09 and has played soccer her whole life.  She also works at Parky's Farm in Winton Woods.

In Heather's words:  "This place can be a mad house, but I LOVE IT."
